Shipping luggage seems like a good answer to assure its arrival, but I'm not that organized... How does she do it?

My sister shipped her luggage when she came to visit from Colorado. It saved her money and she could track it as it went which was a big relief for her because on her last trip to Florida, her luggage arrived a day and a half late.

My feeling on baggage fees is drive whenever possible. If enough people drove to their destinations when possible and the airlines started to feel the pinch, who knows. But interestingly enough I passed one of those shipping stores the other day and in their window was a sign "ship your luggage here". Now isn't that a concept?

Thanks for this, Carol. I just learned that this is the time between your comment and my back-office click to approve it. We learn something new everyday...and that was just one thing I learned today.

I met you yesterday at In-Sights and like yourself was not brought up in the technology era, but OH well it's here so you might as well learn it. I'm retired but not ready to watch TV all day, so I have started a in home business. This is quite a new venture for me and the next step has to be the internet for marketing. I hope to take Lin's FaceReading class also, see you there.
