Got Integrity?

Got Integrity?  That sounds a little like bad grammar and actually is just a play on the phrase, ‘Got Milk?’, which you may have already guessed.  So maybe we can get away with it here.

What does integrity mean to you?  I just checked back to some of my posts which contain that word and concept.  I’ve written some basic thoughts about it over the past year or so. You can ‘search‘ for those posts on the right side of this page to read them.

Simply put, integrity is doing what is right even when no one is around to see it.

If you are in a situation that requires you to make a decision about something and you soon realize it’s a decision that can impact lots of people and things, what guides you to make that decision?

When you have integrity you will make the decision from the perspective of making the right or fair decision, for everyone involved.

You may wonder how you will know that it is the right decision.  That’s when you put yourself in the other person’s position and think about how you would feel if you were the other person.
